The area known as Horseshoe bend was formed approximately 200 million years ago when a gigantic mass of dunes covered the landscape ranging from Arizona to Wyoming.  These areas are referred to as ergs by geologists, and over time, the dunes became petrified and turned to stone. Horseshoe Bend is a unique incised meander created by the Colorado River near  Page, Arizona. The distorted and twisted cracks of Antelope Canyon will make you believe that nature is a designer itself. Antelope Canyon comprises two slot canyons, upper and lowers, each formed by the rushing waters of the late-summer monsoons. Indeed a treat to the eyes, Antelope Canyon is quickly nicknamed The Crack & The  Corkscrew. Each of them takes pride in its unique look and impresses its visitors like anything.   7.
